PostgreSQL を拡張して信頼性とセキュリティを強化

オープンソースデータベースの PostgreSQL をベースに、ストレージ管理機能を強化しており、信頼性やセキュリティが向上しています。 PostgreSQL をより安心して利用いただけます。

また、セキュリティの基準として広がりつつある PCI DSS の求める通信やデータの暗号化、パスワードの有効期限設定にも対応しています。

データ暗号化で貴重な情報を保護

データベースに格納するデータはもちろん、バックアップデータやトランザクションログまで暗号化できます。しかも、データは自動的に暗号化、復号されるため、アプリケーションが暗号化を意識する必要はありません。

データ損失を防いで最新状態への復旧も簡単

トランザクションログの二重化でディスク破損によるデータ損失を防ぎ、GUI 管理ツールから簡単に最新状態まで復旧できます。また、データファイルの破損を検査して破損がほかの部分に広がることを未然に防ぎます。

PCI DSS とは

PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard) は、クレジットカードに関する情報を安全に取り扱うために American Express、Discover、JCB、MasterCard、VISA の五社によって策定されたセキュリティに関する基準です。

クレジットカードに関する情報が流出するのを防ぐため、クレジットカードの加盟店やクレジットカードに関する情報を取り扱うサービスプロバイダには PCI DSS に準拠することが求められています。また、PCI DSS は、セキュリティポリシーが非常に具体的であるため、クレジットカードに関する情報を取り扱うかどうかに係わらず、さまざまな分野でセキュリティの基準として広がりつつあります。

本プログラムは PowerGres の活用を支援するために、ヘルプデスクと障害対応を提供するものです。 PowerGres を使用したシステムの開発中や運用において発生する疑問にお答えしたり、障害の対応を行います。メニューは、ビジネスタイムとプレミアムサポートの二種類があり、プレミアムサポートでは、ビジネス上のミッションクリティカルな障害に対して、24 時間 365 日のサポート対応を提供します。障害の原因が PowerGres なのか、その他のソフトウェアにあるのかという切り分けがお客様によって行われることが前提となります。なお、このサポートではデータベース設計やパフォーマンスチューニングに関するご質問は承ることができませんので、ご注意ください。また、PowerGres V5 よりパッチのご提供につきましてはサポートサービスをご契約されていることが前提となります。あらかじめ了承ください。 PowerGres サポートサービスについてのより詳細な情報はサポートのページをご覧ください。

PowerGres Plus V10 では本体は 1 インストールあたり 1 ライセンス、サポートは 1CPU あたり 1 ライセンスが必要となります。物理サーバでは CPU ソケット数を CPU 数としてカウントします。
